Distance Contract (in accordance with Latvian legislation)

According to the laws of the Republic of Latvia, every online store must clearly define the terms of delivery, returns, and the right of withdrawal. These provisions are referred to as a Distance Contract (in accordance with Cabinet Regulation No. 255).

Distance Contract

The seller of the goods offered in this online store is SIA LIMA Balt, hereinafter referred to as the Seller, and the person placing the order is referred to as the Buyer. The following agreement is concluded:

The Seller undertakes to sell and deliver the goods to the Buyer in accordance with the Buyer's order. All orders must be made via this website. An order is considered valid only if both the Seller and the Buyer have received a confirmation email. Orders submitted via email in free form are not considered properly placed and are not subject to Seller's guarantees regarding fulfillment times. Similarly, information provided via telephone cannot be considered a valid order. Any comments from the Buyer regarding the order must be submitted either within the order form on the website or later via email (info@pika.lv), referencing the original order.

Delivery and Payment Terms

The Buyer places an order through the website, specifying the type and quantity of goods. Payment can be made using integrated payment methods or upon receiving the goods.

The Seller ensures the production of goods within 10–25 business days after payment is received (for online payments via credit card/bank link). Delivery terms are coordinated individually with the Buyer. After successful payment, the order status is updated to "Paid". Once delivered or collected from the warehouse, the status changes to "Completed", and the Buyer receives a confirmation email which serves as a warranty.

Right of Withdrawal

The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the product within 14 calendar days of receiving it, by submitting a written withdrawal notice to the Seller. A withdrawal form is provided by the Seller upon the Buyer's request.

The Buyer must return the goods within 7 days after sending the withdrawal notice. All return shipping costs are borne by the Buyer. Return shipping is not subject to discounts or partial reimbursement.

The right of withdrawal does not apply if:

• the product cannot be returned due to its nature, quick spoilage, or usage limits;

• the product is custom-made to the Buyer's specifications (e.g., paint, engraving, custom design, custom size);

• the mattress hygiene packaging has been opened and the mattress has been used without its original PVC protective cover.

According to Section 12, Paragraph 6 of the Latvian Consumer Rights Protection Law, the Buyer is responsible for maintaining the quality and safety of the goods during the withdrawal period. The Seller reserves the right to refuse a return or deduct compensation if:

• the product is damaged,

• the product has been used improperly,

• the original packaging is missing or significantly damaged.

Data Processing

By entering the required information when placing an order, the Buyer confirms that they are aware and agree to the processing of their data for the purposes of order execution and delivery in accordance with Latvian law. The Buyer also agrees to receive notifications related to their order via the provided email address.
